Risk Assessment

HTC recognises that a risk assessment is a vital element for health and safety management and its main objective is to determine the measures required to comply with statutory duty under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated regulations by reducing the level of incidents/accidents.

Singles Tennis

Calling all members who would like to play singles - if you would like to sign up for friendly singles games, please add your name to the list in the clubhouse indicating ability, availability and contact details.

 

Social Events

March 2021 update

 

An Open Day and American Tournament will be organised for April/May - details TBC. It is hoped a club BBQ/social event will coincide with one of the events.

An intra-club tournament has been run by Mark Bradshaw and will resume after 29 March within the guidelines. All play to be completed by end June. A finals day will be arranged for July.

An Open Day and social is also planned for September, before the AGM in October

 

Non member sessions

Non members are invited to join one of the regular groups to meet some of the members and enjoy some play free of charge. Please contact the Membership Secretary or Club Secretary (see contacts)

 

Coaching

We have coaching courses on Tuesdays at 7pm for beginners and rusty returners and at 8pm for intermediate and advanced players. Cost is £5 per session, turn up and pay. Coaching is suspended for school and bank holidays (full and half terms) although normal play takes place.
