We are looking for volunteers to join the Committee for Facilities Management and Social Secretary.

Please note that the courts have all been refurbished and are all available for play.

Diversity

This Policy sets out HTC’s commitment to Diversity and Inclusion and includes our Safe and Inclusive Standards, Code of Conduct and Reporting Procedure, it also supports our overall aims for diversity and inclusion that are to ensure that:

Risk Assessment

HTC recognises that a risk assessment is a vital element for health and safety management and its main objective is to determine the measures required to comply with statutory duty under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and associated regulations by reducing the level of incidents/accidents.

Singles Tennis

Calling all members who would like to play singles - if you would like to sign up for friendly singles games, please add your name to the list in the clubhouse indicating ability, availability and contact details.

 

Social Events

2017

Saturday 22 September - nearly 40 people came along and we raised £216.50 for MIND, the mental health charity

2018

Monday 7 May - Open Day
 
American Tournaments - ad hoc tournaments are well attended and more are planned

Saturday 8 September - BBQ and social tennis - nearly 60 people attended on such a glorious day!  £230 was raised for MIND, the mental health charity

Sunday Funday

Sunday Funday  - These events have not been as successful as we would like.  Therefore, we will change our open session to the first Saturday of the month to coincide with the club session at 2pm.  All members and non members are welcome, free of charge.

 

Coaching

We have coaching courses on Mondays. Beginngers/Rusty Returners at 7pm and Intermediate/Advanced at 8pm for one hour - £55 (members/£65 non members) for 10 sessions, £7.50 (members) and £8.50 (non member) turn up and play.  Coaching is suspended for school and bank holidays (full and half terms) although normal play takes place.

The free taster session on 16 April was enjoyed by all with music and games too
